Florence: Accademia Gallery and walking tour full day (lunch included)


This private tour is a full immersion in the very heart of Florence.

In the morning, you will visit the Academia Gallery, one of the most visited museums in the world, where you will admire Michelangelo’s masterpiece David. The charm, power and perfection of this sculpture can only be discovered by being physically in front of it. After the visit of the museum, the tour continues towards the religious center of Florence. Here, you will enter the Cathedral Santa Maria del Fiore, the fourth largest church in the world. Get ready to admire Brunelleschi’s dome from inside the church, decorated with frescoes and wall paintings by Vasari and his collaborators.

After the visit of the Cathedral, you will have have the opportunity to taste typical dishes of the Florentine cousine in a nice historical restaurant located in the city center.

The tour will continue in the afternoon with a nice walk to discover the historical center of Florence, considered to be an open-air museum itself, with many monuments, churches and sculptures. From the Signoria square, where stands the medieval Palazzo Vecchio and a copy of Michelangelo’s David, you will reach Ponte Vecchio, the oldest bridge of the city, where you will admire the sparkling windows of the goldsmiths. You will stop in the elegant and busy Repubblica square and from there, you will walk the narrow streets of the medieval district with its ancient towers and churches.

An expert tour guide will give you all the support needed to access the monuments and will chose the best and more suitable tours according to your specific needs. It is also possible to rent a wheelchair or an electric scooter if needed, as well as hire a specialized carer.
